You’re not just enrolling in a class — you’re joining a family-oriented community that truly cares about your child.

At Valmy Academy, performing arts education is not just about technique or talent — it’s about building confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging.

A Place where children feel safe enough to be brave.

At Valmy Academy, performing arts education is not just about technique or talent — it’s about building confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging.

We create spaces where children and teens feel safe to express themselves, try new things, and grow both on and off the stage. Every class is a chance to be seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

We offer musical theatre, dance, acting, and singing programs for students aged 18 months to 18 years, but what truly sets us apart is how we care about your child. About their journey. And about the kind of human beings they’re becoming through the arts.Because for us, this work is personal.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING Vision

Contributing to the Future of Performing Arts

Our programs are 100% industry-based and precisely designed to meet the demands of today’s performing arts industry. VALMY ACADEMY’s approach steps aside from outdated teaching methods and is backed up by years of intensive research and addition of disciplines such as neurology, isometrics, ergonomics, anatomy, and human sciences. Our Performing Arts programs, supported by those scientific foundations allows our teachers to provide the most effective training to our students.

Staying Ahead of the Curve

Unlike other institutions that rely on decades-old techniques and keep teaching Performing Arts the way we already taught it in the 80s, our educational team, all industry professionals, are fully incolved in VALMY ACADEMY’s modern vision. All our trainers continually research and update their teaching methods with the latest advancements in performing arts training to ensure that our students receive the most current and effective training available.

Our Story

Valmy Academy was originally founded as the Loïc Valmy Broadway Academy — a dream shared between two creative partners who wanted to build a space where young people could express themselves, take brave steps, and feel completely accepted for who they are
After the sudden passing of Loïc in 2024, we chose to continue this vision in his honour. The name evolved, but the heart of the academy — its warmth, community spirit, and deep commitment to students — remains exactly the same.
Here’s who we are, why we care, and what kind of people we are behind the scenes
We’re performers, parents, teachers, choreographers, directors, creatives — and human beings who genuinely love watching children come alive on stage. But even more than that, we love seeing the little things that happen behind the scenes:
* A shy student finding their voice
* A child stepping into the spotlight for the first time
* A teen mentoring someone younger, just like they once were

What kind of place is Valmy Academy?

If you’re the kind of parent who values community, care, creativity, and heart — you’re in the right place.
We don’t believe in pressure or perfection. We believe in encouragement, challenge, and joy. We believe that when children are given the space to explore who they are, they’ll surprise you — and themselves — with what they can do.
Our classrooms are inclusive, our productions are full of heart, and our focus is on progress, not perfection. Every child moves at their own pace — and we’re here to cheer them on at every step.

Meet our team

Loïc Valmy – Founder & Inspiration

07-February -1972 – 9-August-2024

With more than 45 years of international experience in the Performing Arts, Loïc Valmy was a beacon of knowledge and inspiration within our Academy.

Loïc’s career began at just six years old as a singer in a children’s choir in France. After spending his youth performing in professional musical theatre productions, he pursued a Master’s in Psychology before earning a place at the prestigious Alice Dona Studios in Paris.

Following his graduation, Loïc quickly became one of the most in-demand Artistic Directors in Paris, coaching and directing talent for major record labels such as Universal, EMI, and Sony Music. Over the past 30 years, he produced and directed more than 60 musicals and cabaret shows across France, Europe, and Australia. As a vocal coach and educator, he mentored hundreds of young performers—many of whom have since forged successful professional careers.

Beyond the stage, Loïc was also a distinguished university lecturer, shaping the minds of aspiring professionals in business, entertainment management, and the creative industries. His unique blend of artistic excellence and strategic insight remains an integral part of the Academy’s teaching philosophy.

Honouring Loïc’s Legacy

Loïc was more than a director, educator, and mentor—he was the heart of our Academy. His vision, passion, and belief in young artists built the foundation upon which we continue to grow. Today, VALMY ACADEMY carries forward his dream by empowering the next generation with not just training, but real-world opportunities, industry connections, talent management pathways, and access to working artists.

His legacy lives on in every student who walks through our doors, in every performance that takes the stage, and in the unwavering pursuit of artistic excellence.
Loïc may no longer be with us, but his spirit, his lessons, and his love for the arts will always be at the core of Valmy
